I'm probably the biggest fan of Bafferts but the fact he's puttin The Admiral, Hoppertunity, and Bayern in the Santa Anita Derby annoys the heck out of me

jvickers · When it comes to Bayern running in Ark rather than SA, I wonder whether the jock is a factor. By sending Bayern to Ark, BB can have Stevens on both mounts for now. From a handicapping point of view, I like this move. Assuming Bayern and Candy Boy both finish in the money and make the KD, I will be most interested in which horse Stevens chooses to ride. · 4192 days ago

If i was Bob i'd run G.O.D. back in a grade 3 or listed stake to get his CONFIDENCE back! Also i'd switch venues because santa anita always known for dirty riding tactics.They even did it to the Great Cigar. A stake at Oaklawn would be right up his alley

Bob Baffert plans to enter both Awesome Baby and impressive maiden winner Crushed Velvet in next Saturday’s Grade II Santa Ynez Stakes for 3-year-old fillies at 6 ½ furlongs. Taste Like Candy, second in the Grade I Hollywood Starlet last out, also is expected to enter for Jerry Hollendorfer. Rafael Bejarano retains the mount.

jenna.heusi · hmmm i did a little research and apparently l-thyroxine has been used to treat horses with equine metabolic syndrome (overweight horses with insulin resistance and prone to laminitis) and no reportable side effects were noted. so maybe it is fairly safe in horses. · 4321 days ago

I've hit MANY of his horses at Monmouth this year and Parx horses do VERY well at Monmouth because of the similar early running energy profile. @Travel_vic, but I don't know what I'm talking about, right? Bob Baffert turned 60 today but it was business as usual Sunday morning for the Hall of Fame trainer. “I went to bed 59 and woke up 60,” Baffert said as he supervised workouts on another uncharacteristically frosty morning in Southern California.

If the kentucky derby where run tomarrow baffert would only have long shots in the race he had no good solid consitance 2 year olds only sum impressive madien winners who look fast rather then classic i hope he has a unraced monster other wise things arent looking good cause no horse has won the derby without a 2 year old start in over 100 years

icyhotboo · I knew Bobby had speed, but in his last race he showed it all, speed, heart, stamina, that horse was never getting by no matter how far they ran. If he stays healthy of course.
