I literally had the CRAZIEST day you could ever imagine. I can't even go into it, it'll take a novel. Think about the craziest day with up and downs you've have, multiply it by 20. But at the end of the day, I was jumping up and down in a group hug with one of my best friends, his family, my wife, my kids.... and tons of random, drunk strangers I didn't even know... Seeing this in person, with my family (and random drunk NY spectators) and friends was a blessing. These nights don't come around often. Memories that will last a lifetime. Just yesterday I was a five year old watching Secretariat on my tiny television with my uncle and pops... and today the roles have reversed. Crazy to think about it. Congrats AP!!!
Derek yeah it's gonna be awesome. I'm going to Vegas with some boxing forum buddies lol. Just bought crazy expensive hotel lol. Gonna be crazy there. As a lifelong boxing fan its a great fight. Mayweather is such a defensive wizard and Manny is just so amazingly fast lol. My son started boxing a little while ago because he likes it and he broke it down better then me, lol. He's rolling with Mayweather by a close decision. Come to the new website to break it down lol! BTW, our boy (everyone's boy!!!!) GGG is fighting tomorrow! How can you not love him! You mentioned to me one time he's your favorite. Favorite moment ever was cheering for him (a European) over the Mexican fighter (Rubio), lol. Really speaks to his charisma and popularity. He likes meat, calls everyone good boy, exciting to watch. :D Just hope him and Ward get into the same ring, or maybe him and Canelo. He is fighting Murray, are you familiar with him? Solid boxer, tough guy, but no chance against GGG. Whos knows, he is tough as nails, maybe he can go the distance (sounds crazy, right? :D), but I'm rolling with GGG in 8.
Derek, great to hear from you! Make sure to post on you know what:)
Yeah not bad. I'd say slightly above average:)
May 2nd, 2015.... as a lifelong boxing fan and a lifelong horse racing day. What a day this will be! May 2nd can't come soon enough! If anyone is headed out to Las Vegas, hit me up. I might go (probably close circuit).
Well, the picks took home 2nd and 3rd. I never bet show anymore after looking at the calculated ROI, so the W/PP hedge (as posted) was $120 overall. Luckily, the #4 brought home a solid $5.60 to place, which in place got me $112 on a $40 place bet. Overall, a $120 bet and I brought back $112, so a loss of $8. I can live with that. So far through two races, we're plus $128 (last time we won $136). I'm not doing one for tomorrow since I have stuff to do but I'll try to get one for Tuesday. Hope all y'all have a good one.
I posted this exact same thing on numerous other websites. He was a great man and was always my favorite. Besides the actual sports, he was what made ESPN, well, ESPN. He was the voice of ESPN. Loved him and his enthusiasm. Sportscenter will never be the same. Thoughts go out to his young daughters, the rest of his family and friends. Very sad news. This coming a few days after the great Steven Gerrard is saying goodbye. A difficult few days for the sports world. Rest in peace, Stu. You were as cool as the other side of the pillow. #Gonebutneverforgotten #booyah http://i.imgur.com/58i3vaP.jpg
Hey Derek! Hope you're doing well. If I lose, hope you get the win. Did you bet my pick Bluegrass Singer yesterday? The guy was big time :). Our guy Carlos loved him :). Good luck jinlie and mary.
Not even a LFC fan but gonna miss ya. https://twitter.com/XabiAlonso/status/551001942626160643/photo/1
Atta' girl. Love her. Quality young jock and nice young woman, too. Looking forward to a big 2015 from her. I predict much more attention coming her way in 2015 as she continues to get better mounts.
