Banishing worked Tuesday morning for the third time since winning the Grade 2 Charles Town Classic on Aug. 22.
The 5-year-old gelding by Ghostzapper breezed three furlongs in 37.4 seconds at Churchill Training Center, second fastest of four at the distance.
Banishing has won two stakes in a row for trainer David Jacobson. Before the Charles Town Classic, he scored in the Jeff Hall Memorial at Ellis Park, and he won the Oaklawn Mile (G3) in March. His record this year is 9: 4-4-0.

Gigante (Not This Time), a Grade 2 winner (2023 Secretariat), worked five furlongs in 1:01.4 at Ellis Park on Tuesday morning. It was the second fastest of three works at the distance. His previous work was seven days ago going four furlongs at Ellis Park.
