Eclipse Award winner Immersive, whose long-range goal is the Breeders’ Cup Distaff, turned in an eye-catching workout Saturday at Churchill Downs.

Godolphin’s homebred 3-year-old Nyquist filly went a half-mile in 47.8 seconds on the fast main track. It was the fourth-fastest of 142 workouts over the course and distance Saturday morning.

Trained by Brad Cox, Immersive lost by 15 1/2 lengths finishing second last month in the Grade 1 Coaching Club American Oaks at Saratoga. She began her career with four consecutive victories including the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile and two other Grade 1s last year. She then missed seven months because of bone bruising and came back a close second to Take Charge Milady in the Monomoy Girl Overnight on June 14 at Churchill Downs.

Thirty-six graded-stakes winners breezed their way onto the U.S. work tab Saturday.

Immersive (Nyquist), a three-time Grade 1 winner (2024 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies, 2024 Alcibiades, 2024 Spinaway), worked four furlongs in 47.8 seconds at Churchill Downs on Saturday morning. It was the fourth fastest of 142 works at the distance. Her previous work was 10 days ago going four furlongs at Churchill Downs. In her last start she placed second in the Coaching Club American Oaks Invitational (G1) going 1 1/8 miles on the main track at Saratoga on July 19 for trainer Brad Cox.

Cavalieri (Nyquist), a Grade 1 winner (2025 Beholder Mile), worked five furlongs in 58.4 seconds at Del Mar. It was the fastest of 60 works at the distance. Her previous work was six days ago going five furlongs at Del Mar. In her last start she won the Beholder Mile (G1) going one mile on the main track at Santa Anita on March 8 for trainer Bob Baffert.

Good Cheer (Medaglia d’Oro), a Grade 1 winner (2025 Kentucky Oaks), worked five furlongs in 1:01.7 at Saratoga. It was the second fastest of four works at the distance. This was her first work since her last race. In her last start she placed second in the Alabama (G1) going 1 1/4 miles on the main track at Saratoga on Aug. 16 for trainer Brad Cox.

Johannes (Nyquist), a Grade 1 winner (2024 Shoemaker Mile), worked five furlongs in 1:02.4 at Del Mar. It was the 55th fastest of 60 works at the distance. His previous work was seven days ago going four furlongs at Del Mar. In his last start he placed ninth in the Fourstardave (G1) going one mile on the turf at Saratoga on Aug. 2 for trainer Tim Yakteen.

Kilwin (Twirling Candy), a Grade 1 winner (2025 Test), worked five furlongs in 1:01.6 at Keeneland. It was the fifth fastest of nine works at the distance. Mystik Dan (Goldencents), a Grade 1 winner (2024 Kentucky Derby), worked four furlongs in 48.2 seconds at Churchill Downs. It was the 13th fastest of 142 works at the distance. This was his first work since his last race. In his last start he placed fourth in the Arlington Million (G1) going 1 1/4 miles on the turf at Colonial Downs on Aug. 9 for trainer Kenny McPeek.

Positano Sunset (Goldencents), a Grade 1 winner (2025 Madison), worked four furlongs in 49.2 seconds at Skylight Training Center. It was the second fastest of eight works at the distance.
