Gulfstream Park Picks
Gulfstream Park opened in 1939 in Hallandale Beach, Florida, and ran the first Florida Derby in 1952. It runs top-class racing throughout the year on three different surfaces. The main, dirt track is 1 1/8 miles with a one-turn, one-mile chute. In 2021, a 1 mile 70 yard Tapeta track was opened inside the dirt oval, and on the far inside is a 7-furlong turf course. The Championship Meet in the winter attracts top barns from the East Coast. Click here for Gulfstream Park entries and results.

Biggest stakes: Florida Derby, Pegasus World Cup
Horse Racing Nation's Power Picks are based on an advanced computer algorithm that weighs 14 predictive factors in each race. The algorithm weighs speed figures, pace, class, jockeys, trainers and other critical factors. The top picks have the lowest score in each race.
